Appearance
Medium-deep ruby with a clear, bright rim.
Nose
Ripe blackberry, black cherry, and cassis lead, with notes of cedar, dried herbs, and a hint of vanilla from oak aging. Classic Alexander Valley character.
Palate
Medium-full bodied with supple, well-integrated tannins. The palate is generous and approachable, with black fruit, cedar, and a touch of cocoa on the mid-palate. Elegant and food-friendly.
Finish
Medium-long finish with lingering notes of black fruit, cedar, and fine tannin.
