Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir and Chardonnay at the edge of the Pacific

Flowers Vineyard & Winery was founded in 1991 by Walt and Joan Flowers, who planted vineyards on the extreme western edge of the Sonoma Coast — just three miles from the Pacific Ocean — at elevations between 1,400 and 1,800 feet. The estate's Camp Meeting Ridge and Sea View Ridge vineyards are among the most dramatically situated in California, carved from the rugged coastal hills above the fog line. The cool, wind-swept conditions produce Pinot Noir and Chardonnay of extraordinary tension, minerality, and longevity. Flowers pioneered the extreme Sonoma Coast as a world-class wine region, and the estate's wines have become benchmarks for the appellation. The winery was acquired by Huneeus Vintners in 2013, which has continued the estate's commitment to minimal-intervention winemaking and the expression of its unique coastal terroir.
